He was at one point the Chairperson of the UK Chapter. He has been a member of the UK Chapter\u2019s Advocacy &amp; Mentorship Sub-Committee since its formation in October 2016.<br \/>Mr Billie Nedie is a veteran human rights activist whose involvement in human rights dates back to his days in leadership of labour unions in Zimbabwe prior to his emigration to the UK.<br \/>He brings a lot experience to the Board of Trustees of ROHR Zimbabwe.<\/p>\n<p>With effect from 27<sup>th<\/sup> March 2020, the current Board of Trustees of ROHR Zimbabwe is lined up as follows;-<br \/>Paradzai Mapfumo: (Board tenure w.e.f. 11\/02\/2014) &#8211; <strong>Chairperson<\/strong>\u00a0&amp;\u00a0<strong>International Director &#8211; Coordinator<br \/><\/strong>Edgar Shingai Chikuvire: (Board tenure w.e.f. 30\/07\/2007) &#8211; <strong>Founder; Board Secretary<br \/><\/strong>Delina Tafadzwa Mutyambizi: (Board tenure w.e.f. 23\/16\/2018) &#8211; <strong>Treasurer<br \/><\/strong>Panyika Anselm Karimanzira: (Board tenure w.e.f. 11\/02\/2014) &#8211; <strong>Spokesperson<\/strong><br \/>Billie Nedie: (Board tenure w.e.f. 27\/03\/2020) \u2013 <strong>Board Member<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>ROHR ZIMBABWE BOARD OF TRUSTEES SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT \u2013 Sunday 19<sup>th<\/sup> January 2020<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Board of Trustees of Restoration of Human Rights (ROHR) Zimbabwe held a Board Meeting on Saturday 18<sup>th<\/sup> January 2020 following which we announce as follows;-<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The former Chairperson and founding member of ROHR Zimbabwe, Grace Sinikiwe Mupfurutsa resigned on 3rd January 2020. Her resignation was accepted by the Board of Trustees on 18th January 2020 at a Board meeting.<\/li>\n<li>The former Vice Chairperson and founding member of ROHR Zimbabwe, Ronald Mureverwi resigned on 3rd January 2020. His resignation was accepted by the Board of Trustees on 18th January 2020 at a Board meeting.<\/li>\n<li>At the Board meeting of 18th January 2020, Paradzai Mapfumo was elected as the new Chairperson of the Board of Trustees. He will also continue in his role as International Director &#8211; Coordinator until further notice.<\/li>\n<li>The Board of Trustees would like to thank Grace Sinikiwe Mupfurutsa and Ronald Mureverwi for their contribution to the organization since its founding in 2007.<\/li>\n<li>The Board of Trustees will identify potential new Board members who will be appointed to the Board of Trustees in due course.<\/li>\n<li>The Board of Trustees will be embarking on a re-branding exercise which will include the likelihood of a new Constitution and putting in place necessary policies to guide the organization\u2019s functions and activities.
