{"id":358,"date":"2017-06-12T11:15:33","date_gmt":"2017-06-12T11:15:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rohrzim.org\/?p=358"},"modified":"2017-06-12T11:15:33","modified_gmt":"2017-06-12T11:15:33","slug":"stationary-donated-to-rohr-zimbabwe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rohr-zimbabwe.org\/index.php\/2017\/06\/12\/stationary-donated-to-rohr-zimbabwe\/","title":{"rendered":"STATIONARY DONATED TO ROHR ZIMBABWE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>STATIONARY DONATED TO ROHR ZIMBABWE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>By Panyika Karimanzira &#8211; 17th December, 2012<\/p>\n<p>Restoration of Human Rights (ROHR) Zimbabwe is pleased to announce the receipt of 128000 items of stationary, mainly pens, for free distribution to schools in Zimbabwe.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em><br \/>\nThe stationary items were donated to ROHR Zimbabwe by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pensforkids.co.uk\/\">Pens for Kids UK<\/a> , a charity organization based in the UK.<br \/>\nROHR Zimbabwe had been introduced to Pens for Kids UK by the former co-ordinators of Vision Inspired People Zimbabwe, namely Nathan Sipho Banana, Dumi Senda and Shabaan Banana.<\/p>\n<p>The donation was handed over to the UK based National Co-ordinator of the UK Chapter of ROHR Zimbabwe, Mr Paradzai Mapfumo on Saturday 15<sup>th<\/sup> December, 2012 by Malcolm Obrien of Pens for Kids UK, in Broughton, Kettering, United Kingdom.<br \/>\nThe donation will be consigned to Zimbabwe where they will be distributed to carefully selected, needy educational institutions, mainly Primary Schools across the entire country, both rural and urban.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the beneficiaries have since been identified. They are Mbuya Nehanda Children\u2019s Home in Melfort and Josiah Chinamano Primary School in Emakhandeni, Bulawayo.
