{"id":403,"date":"2017-06-12T12:18:47","date_gmt":"2017-06-12T12:18:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rohrzim.org\/?p=403"},"modified":"2017-06-21T15:23:49","modified_gmt":"2017-06-21T15:23:49","slug":"press-statement-30th-july-2013","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rohr-zimbabwe.org\/index.php\/2017\/06\/12\/press-statement-30th-july-2013\/","title":{"rendered":"Press Statement 30th July, 2013"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Press Statement 30th July, 2013<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At the National Executive Meeting held in London on Saturday 27<sup>th<\/sup> July 2013, the U.K Chapter of ROHR Zimbabwe unanimously voted and endorsed the institution with immediate effect of a Chairperson Committee. This is in response to the urgent need to consolidate the leadership and support our colleagues who are faced with competing personal demands.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em><br \/>\nPamela Dunduru and Patrick Gore assume all responsibilities and authority as well as the autonomy of the Chairperson and the Vice Chairperson of the Executive as of 30<sup>th<\/sup> July 2013. The Board of Trustees and all the members of the National Executive need the support of all our stakeholders especially during this time of transition in order for us all to continue advancing the cause of Human Rights effectively<br \/>\nMessrs Billie Nedie and Ronald Oputeri are on leave of absence for a minimum of three months. They remain valued members of the U.K National Executive. It is our intention to uphold the organisation\u2019s goals and progress whilst at the same time being compassionate and supportive towards one another<\/p>\n<p>Please also observe the following changes that were discussed and voted into place.<br \/>\nPamela Dunduru is now the National Executive U.K Chairperson<br \/>\nPatrick Gore is now the National U.K Vice Chairperson<br \/>\nDelina Mutyambizi is now the National Executive U.K Treasurer. She will also be working in the Fundraising Committee.<br \/>\nCharity Nyamuzuwe is now a National Executive U.K Fundraiser<br \/>\nPriscilla Chitsinde is now the National Executive U.K&#8221;s Organising Secretary<br \/>\nParadzai Mapfumo will work with the Organising Secretary but will retain the main role of National Co ordinator.<\/p>\n<p>We wish all Zimbabweans the very best in the General Elections taking place on Wednesday 31<sup>st<\/sup> July 2013. Our desire is that there will be minimal or no Human Rights abuses.
