STATIONARY DONATED TO ROHR ZIMBABWE

Restoration of Human Rights (ROHR) Zimbabwe is pleased to announce the receipt of 128000 items of stationary, mainly pens, for free distribution to schools in Zimbabwe.
The stationary items were donated to ROHR Zimbabwe by Pens for Kids UK , a charity organization based in the UK.
ROHR Zimbabwe had been introduced to Pens for Kids UK by the former co-ordinators of Vision Inspired People Zimbabwe, namely Nathan Sipho Banana, Dumi Senda and Shabaan Banana.
The donation was handed over to the UK based National Co-ordinator of the UK Chapter of ROHR Zimbabwe, Mr Paradzai Mapfumo on Saturday 15th December, 2012 by Malcolm Obrien of Pens for Kids UK, in Broughton, Kettering, United Kingdom.
The donation will be consigned to Zimbabwe where they will be distributed to carefully selected, needy educational institutions, mainly Primary Schools across the entire country, both rural and urban.
Some of the beneficiaries have since been identified. They are Mbuya Nehanda Children’s Home in Melfort and Josiah Chinamano Primary School in Emakhandeni, Bulawayo. Identification of beneficiaries is still in progress and the full list will be announced in due course.
