On the evening of Sunday 30th, May 2021, the North Branch Committee held their monthly teleconference meeting. The meeting was chaired by branch Chairman Vengai Mutsawu.

Register of Attendance:
Vengai Mutsawu, Nontokozo Malaba Ncube, Omega Mpofu, Margret Tashayawedu, Petronella Mahachi and Delina Mutyambizi.

Apologies:

The committee agreed on proposed date for the next Branch Meeting to be held on Saturday 12th, June 2021.

Agenda:

  1. Referral letter to Amnesty International
  2. Letters for Tapiwa Makore’s case
  3. Fundraising campaign for donations to execute current branch projects. * PPE donation to Harare hospital * Borehole drilling in Bulawayo.
  4. Update on human rights in Zimbabwe

After careful consideration, the meeting endorsed the execution of already planned projects listed in the above agenda.

Any other business:
Omega Mpofu suggested that we should also discuss the recent fire outbreak at Mpilo hospital. This incident will be discussed in the next branch meeting.

Notes:
Vongayi  Mufara is going to write all three letters and forward them to the committee for review.

The meeting agreed to convene the next Branch Meeting on Saturday 12th, June 2021 at 1400hrs.

All agenda items and any other business having been exhausted, Vengai Mutsawu thanked everyone for attending and declared the meeting closed at 17:30 hrs.
