18th July 2020 On Saturday the 18th July 2020, the Scotland Branch of the UK Chapter of Restoration of Human Rights (ROHR) Zimbabwe held a meeting via zoom. Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, it is still imperative that we observe lockdown guidelines, and minimise face to face gatherings where possible hence the “Zoom” platform. On Saturday the 27th of June 2020, the Midlands Branch of the UK Chapter of Restoration of Human Rights [ROHR] Zimbabwe held a meeting via Zoom. 4th July 2020 When they became aware of an initiative to feed needy children in Epworth, a sprawling impoverished settlement of around 200 000 residents south east of Harare, Zimbabwe by Caroline Bushu and Sandra Chikwama, founders of “Our Children Our Hope Organization”, members of the Scotland branch of the UK Chapter of ROHR Zimbabwe decided to support the initiative in a practical way. 20th June 2020 The Scotland Branch of the UK Chapter of Restoration of Human Rights (ROHR) Zimbabwe convened a meeting via zoom from 2pm over two 40 minute sessions on Saturday, the 20th June 2020. 9th April 2020 Under the auspices of ROHR Zimbabwe’s Education Assistance Programme (EAP), ROHR Zimbabwe donated pens and other items of stationery to specially selected needy Primary and Secondary Schools in Zimbabwe, over the years. Here is a recap of the donations. On 29th January 2016 ROHR Zimbabwe donated pens to Dungwiza Primary School, St Marys, Chitungwiza, Zimbabwe. This event was covered in this report. 7th December 2017 On Wednesday 6th of December 2017, Restoration of Human Rights (ROHR) Zimbabwe donated a consignment of pens to Mandalay Primary (formerly known as Nharira School and Junior Primary School) in Goromonzi South, Zimbabwe. The initiative is part of a vision to invest in education and human resource capital as a means of positioning the coming generation to champion their destiny to unlock the potential Africa wields.
